The cheeses that I discover for my French cheese tasting project, now in its fourth year, never cease to amaze me. There seems to be an endless array of alluring shapes and sizes to delight the consumer, and my most recent find is definitely proof of that.

Weekend Links
Just spent a very busy weekend socializing.
Moving up to Normandy in a few weeks means that we're trying to spend as much time as possible with our friends before we say goodbye.
Though I did make it a priority to get my recommended daily allowance of computer time!
Here are a few things that caught my eye this weekend.
Paris + Pastry = Paradise.
David Lebovitz, with the help of Heather Stimmler-Hall and Bryan Pirolli, created the Paris Pastry iPhone app to make sure you get your sweet fix when you're in Paris.
I love sweet/savory snacks like this.
Hmmm...I think most of these apply to me.

A Special Offer From Rock Water Studio
When my friend, Gee Backhouse, a talented jewelry designer-maker and owner of Rock Water Studio, offered to create a special discount for the readers of Chez Loulou, of course I took her up on her offer!
Gee's jewelry is elegant, stylish, sometimes whimsical and always beautiful. Her handcrafted compasses are true works of (functional) art and the Amethyst Waterdrop bracelet that she made me for my 40th birthday is one of my most treasured pieces.

Saying Au Revoir
I've been sitting here trying to think of either a philosophical way or a funny/witty way to begin this post and am failing miserably.
So I'm just going to say it: We're moving.
In a few weeks the title of this blog will no longer be "Chez Loulou - A Taste of Life in the South of France."
