Walking through the 6th, a bit of café time in the 5th and a trip up to the 10th for lunch.
A few minutes of classical music in the Métro, wandering in the 1st and drinks in the 4th.
Thank you! A vicarious walk through the 6th is just what I needed this dreary Saturday on the West Coast of Canada. . . .dreaming of being there again next spring. . .
How I love street shots (or restaurant shots)of Paris! Thanks for taking us along on the trip. I'm always curious about what French women are wearing. For autumn in Seattle, it's fleece and Danskos or tennis shoes. I have a feeling that's not the case in Paris....
Thanks - I love getting a feel for Paris - quite a few smokers as usual ! And what are those women buying from that cage ? Is it a pet or something to eat ?
People watching in Paris is so great and I love the 6th too , thanks for bringing back memories. I met a new blogger friend there in July and she took me around and showed me some little lanes.
I love this post. I think sometimes we get caught up in the big attractions but the little things, the people, the places, etc, are wonderful to notice and take in. People watching anywhere is awesome.
This post is so much fun. I'm loving the hat in No. 3, and in No. 5 I notice that it's not just the US having a problem with wandering apostrophes. But what I always like in pictures of Paris is how trim everyone looks, and you can see their cheekbones. Walking + good food, I imagine.

You're very welcome! Glad I could add a bit of light to a dreary day.

No, fleece and Danskos are not often seen in Paris...
:)

That is a shopping cart with a makeshift grill on top. He was grilling corn on the cob! First time I had ever seen that here.

It wasn't too cold, but as usual, if the temperature dips below 60 degrees F, everyone is bundled up like it's the Arctic. :)
EuroMom
the BEST!

It's a neighborhood that I don't know very well, so I enjoyed wandering around and discovering new things. Looking forward to going back!

Thanks for sharing ordinary, everyday sights. I love seeing streets in different countries and imagining what it would be like to walk down them.

It is one of my favorite activities!
