It's no secret that I love Paris. I visit as often as I can and every time I return from a trip to this rich, multilayered city, I look forward to returning.
Paris is addictive.
And I'm happy to confess that I am hopelessly addicted.
Superb collection! The sight of all these umbrellas somehow comforted me... At least I know Seattle is not the only city where it is pouring down right now! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Thanks for the memories! I think I recognized the Arsenal boat basin, a view of the base of the monument at Bastille, the Canal St. Martin in the 10th, and the Place de Vosges -- my most familiar and favorite areas of Paris. I love the Languedoc, where I live (Roquebrun, Herault) but I always long for Paris. bonnie
I love absolutely everything about Paris except for the weather. I have been to Paris many times and it never fails to rain! We came close to buying an apartment in Paris but we were deterred by the rain even more than the prices.
This is how I feel about San Francisco. I really enjoyed Paris when I visited and I love seeing it through your lens. Between you and David Lebovitz I feel like I have gotten to know Paris much better than when I visited it myself 12 years ago.
MERCI! We are dying to get back - cannot believe it has been two years since we spent that glorious summer there. We were just looking at flights for this winter; hoping it works. Regardless, thank you for taking me there for a few moments!

Wonderful photos. Very addictive. =)
Do you end up at Gare St Lazare? I love all of Paris train stations. European public transportation is really the best.
And what a beautiful hit to feed MY addiction! Hope your visit was marvelous!
We are going to Paris next month.
Can't wait for it all.

Oh, for an apartment in your second picture. Lovely collection.
Where was the first picture taken? I want to think I recognize it, but not sure.
Great collection. The one of Place des Vosges reminds me of the time I was living nearby...

We had a lot of soft rain and drizzle when I was there earlier this month. Stay warm!

Merci! (Paris is truly addictive)

Yes, I came into and went out of St Lazare. They've been renovating it and it now has a mall attached!
I love the Gare de Lyon.

It was marvelous! But it always is.

That is the Place des Vosges.

Do you miss it?

I cannot get enough of Paris. Sadly I live in Wisconsin.
It's been nearly six months since our last visit. So the photos are much appreciated.

That's so funny because every time I'm there the weather is beautiful! Timing is everything, huh? :)
