Oh have fun in Aveyron and don't forget to have your photo taken in front of the statue of L'Enfant Sauvage! We had a wonderful meal in Rodez once 20 years ago. And a few years later visited the Roquefort caves (Papillon?). Have fun!
i love the really really big bridge!
and
go buy leather gloves in millau
ohh and i love the bridge
Love that bridge. Designed by a Brit, made by French engineers. Delivered on time. Big budget. Awesome.
Good thing you reminded me!
Wow love the bridge, must try and see it one day.
Have a super time with Betty, I am sure you will have lots of fun!

Darn, I didn't see l'Enfant Sauvage! Rodez was lovely and it was a very quick visit.
I plan on returning and will not miss the Roquefort caves next time!

Crossing the bridge is impressive. I missed out on buying a pair of gloves though.

You've crossed it numerous times by now, haven't you? It is beautiful to see from a distance.

I can't believe it is already Fête du Fromage time again!

Next time you go to Italy you should drive down that way so you can see it. Betty and I had a great time! She's such a sweetie.
My heavens, I don't even know where the statue de l'Enfant Sauvage is!
Things did look a little sunnier and brighter on your side as you left...
Anyway, it was a great time and you just got in on some halfway decent weather -- it deteriorated afterwards, although it has warmed up too.
Betty
I little bit of Rodez that you don't know about? Something to discover!
It has warmed up here also, but is very gloomy and cloudy. It was cold up there, but I'm happy that it didn't rain so we could enjoy our stroll through town Tuesday night.
I'm inspired to cook more magret de canard now. Merci!
