It has been a great year, despite the $/€ debacle. We're still here! And hanging on!
My husband got his own radio show and I snagged a paid writing gig. (which may not be around for much longer...more on that later...if it ends as suddenly as it started, there is always something new to take its place)
On a personal note: to my family and close friends, thank you for all of your love and support. And to my wonderful husband who tirelessly pursued Compaq in France for three weeks to get my laptop repaired - You are the best husband! Ti Amo!
Wishing you all the best that the season has to offer. Thanks again!
Joyeuses Fêtes!

Bonjour Loulou!
What a wonderful blog! The pictures are to die for. I think I melted a little bit seeing your cheese platter.
Also, I saw pictures of your pets. The two chihuahua's and your kitty (russian blue no?).
Joyeux noel Loulou. I am looking forward to reading more!
Bienvenue Colleen!
We think the cat, Daisy, is part Russian Blue, but she's not a purebred.
Soon you'll be enjoying lots of cheese platters yourself! Good luck getting organized with the move and let me know if you have any questions.
Enjoy the holidays!
happy holidays to you two also!!!
Happy Holidays to you as well!

I think I've said it before, but Merry Christmas to you...you see, now that you're on my Google Reader you may get constant comments from me!
We'll have to exchange writing notes sometime. I would love to know what your writing job is.
Cheers!
And a Very Merry Christmas to you as well!
Joyeuses Fêtes! You're my Blog of the Week!
Thank you everyone! Hope you had a great Christmas!
Bonne Annee and thanks for a wonderful blog! It reminds me that it's important to get outside of Paris now and then.
And the cheese photos have me drooling.
Don't take this wrong, but I just got a beautiful goldfish and named her Lou-Lou (that's before I found your site.)
Best,
Polly
Polly,
Thanks for the nice comment. I love goldfish and think Lou Lou is a great name for one! :)
Reading your blog makes me wish I had the chance to get to Paris more often!
Bonne Année!
What a wonderful little note here -- I'm so sorry I didn't see it sooner! I have so much blog-reading to catch up on myself, it's hard to read them all!
It sounds like you had some wonderful holidays and really enjoyed some fabulous food -- I had a nice time with my boy's family, but there were a lot of things I couldn't eat this time around, being pregnant. Plus, December was a month of nausea and unfortunately turning up my nose to far too many things...
I seem to be past that stage now, so I hope to start eating wholeheartedly and having a much better appetite!
