5 Ways To Find Inspiration For Your Blog

Domino having a Zen moment

1) Get out and meet new, clever, bright people. And find out that they are likely to be stuck in a writing/creative rut, just like you.

2) Spend some time on social media. Your mind will be so numb by the time you extract yourself, you won't remember why you clicked on those links in the first place.

3) Drink too much wine. You'll start thinking that you're the most creative writer in the universe.

4) Develop insomnia. I always come up with brilliant ideas while I'm lying awake and staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m. Of course I can't remember any of them the next day, but maybe one day I will...you never know! (remember, it's good to think positively!)

5) Read writing themed blogs. A surefire way to feel inspired and get those juices flowing. For approximately 12 - 24 hours. Then you're back to square one.

6. Take a great photo - then you don't have to write at all!

I feel like your readers are, like me, in a constant state of wonder about living in France- and you probably feel like you've written about everything by now. But could you maybe go back and look over some old post to see if there's any updating to write about. I would love to read a compare/contrast between where you live now and where you used to live.

I wrote a post about the differences I observed between the north and the south a little over a year ago. Hope you enjoy it!: http://chezlouloufrance.blogspot.fr/2012/05/north-vs-south.html
And I do plan on updating the cost of living again in the near future.

I love this! I was lying awake last night thinking of things I was going to make for my students. When I got up and sat down at the computer, I couldn't remember ONE THING! Is it age?

I think it is age. Sucks, doesn't it? :)
