How beautiful! But I hope the château has central heating :)

Central heating:-) well, in my humble experience, this might depend on the age of the chateau... which brings me back to a memorable trip in 2000, in the Loire chateaux valley. The one that was 'sugar coated' that day was Chenonceau:

There were large fireplaces in the huge halls and they all were used that day for heating purposes. Staff members congregated around the fireplaces as well as the few freezing tourists determined to go through their sight-seeing project in this cold weather (-6 C).

I certainly don't like cold weather but there is nothing more beautiful than a snowy landscape.

There are fireplaces as well as central heating, but the fireplaces are appreciated, for warmth and ambiance.

I'm not a huge fan of snow either, but it is truly beautiful!

Looks lovely but where I am snow has worn out its welcome! I can't wait until spring.

To your question from last post about my giveaway. I am not moving but heading there for my first time. Half my time will be spent solo and the other half I think my mom and or sister will be joining me.
The giveaway starts Feb 3rd.
Hope you can join in. I would appreciate any advice despite, although I am sure you get that often!
