These look as scrumptious as I'm sure they taste. Impossible to say, really... For hard I choose Comte vieux (24 months, please) and for soft I choose a really stinky chablis. And for a medium I have to go with a Roquefort, smeared in excess on a very ripe pear. Best, Daisy
LouLou you are fast becoming my cheese recommendation girl, we're going to Mont St Michel in August so will look out for the cheese when in the area. I giggled the other day when I saw this cheese grater http://pylones-usa.com/store/product/grater-eiffel-tower-large/ made me wonder if you already had one?
Found some Franche-Comté cheese in my local supermarket yesterday, destined for Croque madame muffins this lunchtime, yum! Diet, what diet? Having a french food day Lavender Chicken for tea and more homemade madeleines inbetween.
He has excellent taste! I think my fav of those 3 is Roquefort, but being a cheese fiend, i love 'em all! So difficult to choose a fav cheese. So very hard. All super yummy. :)

Mmmm, good looking cheese. And I like the plates you have them on, too.
I can see you are well suited.

Thanks! Those plates were a going away present from a friend in the Languedoc. I love them!

We are. No doubt.

Comté vieux is sublime but I'm not a huge fan of Roquefort. Love many other blues though.

I've seen that cheese grater, but don't have one. Very cute!
Enjoy le Crémeux du Mont-St-Michel when you come to France.

What more is there to say? :)

It is impossible for me to choose just one favorite cheese!
I love Roquefort, it is my absolute favorite French cheese, have you tried mussels with Roquefort melted in it?
Andi
Yes, my husband ordered it once and I tasted it. Wonderful flavor combination!
