Ohhh it certainly catches the imagination, I wonder if it has some inspirational root in French fairy tales, is it a red wig on the girl or the a hood and it's "Petit Chaperon Rouge" and other stories? Forgive me I've just been looking at stuff by Charles Perraut the chap behind some of my favourite childhood stories, I didn't know the writer if LRRH and Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella etc was French! This led me on to reading about the old labyrinth gardens at Versailles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_labyrinth_of_Versailles see how easily I get carried away?
Was the balcony on a private residence or over a public building did you notice? Just wondered if it was an art installation? It certainly does capture the imagination, will see if I can find it for a close up inspection when we visit in our hols. Thanks for sharing Loulou :)
Herbaholic It does get the imagination going, doesn't it. :) It was above a shop, but I'm not sure if the shop owns the space or if it is privately owned.
