It was a "fig tatin" that my friend made. It was delicious!
Hope you get some beach time soon.

Those are griottes, the sour cherries. I love them!
And the fig pie was like a tarte tatin, made with figs. it was fabulous!

starman
Yes it is, good guess!

Fifi
merci :)

Food, Fun
I don't have a recipe, unfortunately. It was and experiment by a friend of ours, but basically a tarte tatin made with fresh figs. Please let me know if you give it a try.

Anne
Hope you can get back to France soon. I know how much you love it.

Nanette

We deserve a bit of summer after the dismal, cold spring we've had down here!

I love summer.... I think it has finally decided to show it's face.
And I found a plum tree on our property. Life is good. You pics are perfect.

Amazing! While I love Paris I could use some of that wonderful beachy fun!

Lucky you with a plum tree! What kind?
Glad you enjoyed the photos.

Enjoy your time in Paris and next time you can come down here to the beach.
Or enjoy Paris Plage while you're there. :)
