Great photo!! Never had them served with butter and salt, just on their own!

Mmmmmm I love 'radis' like that and another lovely colour at this time of year.... but where's that blue sky gone??!

also try them roasted in a little olive oil - they take on a great meaty flavour...yummy

one of the things we will really miss - ate a ton of these over the years as you described - only thing better is to add bacon to the equation!!!

Oh, one of my favorites (but there are so many). I'm actually trying to grow my own this year!

It was a very crowded market so I basically stuck my camera between some people and started taking pictures. I'm happy with the result.

Melanie
Yes, crunchy and delicious!

Anne
You must try it! A wonderful flavor combination.

They are so good and mild this time of year.

Valerie
Blue sky? What is that? :)
Tired of this rain!

garry
Never tried that. Thanks for the idea.

Martha
Thanks!

Dale
Bacon, huh? Interesting idea.

MsGourmet
I couldn't agree more!

Sandy
They are a great spring treat.

J'aime les radis! One of my favorite food that I get each time when I am in your world. I can't find them here. Tried to grow my own but they did not come out right. I will have to be in France in spring next time.

Merci!

Sorry to hear that you can't find them and weren't able to grow them. Guess a trip to France next spring is necessary! :)
