The Paris
Metro line #6 offers spectacular views of
la Tour Eiffel.
I took this route every day for a week when I was in Paris earlier this month. As soon as the train came above ground to cross a bridge over the Seine and this iconic monument came into view, almost every head turned to catch a glimpse.
I saw many smiles on the 6.

I think that is the best view I have ever seen. Diane
The Bir-Hakeim bridge is also very nice (and was made by Mr. Eiffel as well)
I love the line 6! I take every guest on it and have the camera posed to get their pic with this background! :)
Bonjour Loulou! I hope you have had a lovely Christmas. I am so pleased to have just stumbled across your blog. Not only do you have some wonderful recipes, but my husband and I will be moving to the Averyon in the Spring and your posts about life in France are extremely helpful. I'll look forward to visiting you again

It was a moment I looked forward to on my daily commute that week.

I've never noticed the bridge! Probably because I was on the metro going over it. Next time I'll have to get off at the Bir-Hakeim stop and wander around the area.

That must make a great souvenir!

Good luck with your move and glad you discovered Chez Loulou. I'll look forward to reading about your new adventures in France.
I love metro 6.
I don't think I've ever ridden the 6 on that portion, but a similar thing happens in the north on line 2 - it comes above ground and there, just above, is Sacré Coeur. I don't much like riding line 2, but getting that glimpse is always worth it.

It has some good stops!

I've ever taken the 2 north of Sacré-Coeur so have never seen that view. I'll have to check that out next time I'm there.
