An Early Morning Vineyard Walk

Lichen

This is my morning dog walk.
Up a small road that is lined with lichen covered, ash colored stone walls.

Garden Gate

Past an open garden gate. I can hear another early riser tending to their garden behind the tall stone wall.

July grapes

Into the vineyards. The grapes are coming along nicely.

Love the light in second picture. Your morning walk is so beautiful but you are in France so what can it be:)
Have nice Sunday

With views like that how can you not enjoy your early morning walk? I love peering through slightly open doors, there can be such exciting things behind some of them when least expected. Diane

Lovely! The sights in vineyards around here do not show the beauty of age as yours do. Our are relatively new but usually line the Okanagan Lake which make for gorgeous photos as well.

I love how the wooden door is framed by the stone wall in the second photo. It is such a gorgeous mix of light and textures.

Three pictures, three haiku. Pictures and text are static, but you gave them motion through time. And what a charming few moments.

Merci

missing moments
I take hundreds of shots of the grapes ripening every year. A fabulous subject!

lisa
I just noticed today that they are starting to turn purple. It has been a cool summer so they're ripening slowly.
