We'll be having a family get together in Roubia at the end og May, so keep the sun shining please! Additionally looking forward to visiting Gilbert in the Cafe le Troubadour in ARGEN Mvois for a glass (or two) of wine.
Lulu, I'd love more green, but when you live in the Rocky Mountains spring takes her own sweet time. It's a good thing we have a lot of pine trees so there is something in the green family to look at!
Just discovered this blog...love it! My husband wants to move to France; he has a friend who lives there part time. I have been hestitant b/c we have small children, but the beautiful pictures on this blog make me want to go for it. :)

Saw a tv show about your part of the world last nite, they were in Beziers and Bouzigues and near the Pic St. Loup! So lovely! Lucky you! Sante!
Gorgeous!
Lovely photo, I used to work on hotel boats up there!

Was it the Rick Stein program about the Canal? If not, can you please tell me what it was. Just curious!
Santé!
Lindsey
Thank you. :)

This was taken from the deck of our friend's hotel barge, the Athos. We had a pre-season dinner on board last Friday night.
So serene. I love seeing all the green. Here at 6500' the only thing green in my yard are my chives coming up!
What a great photo. Diane

I'll have a chat with Mme. Nature for you. :)
Hope you have a great time in the Minervois.

Just your chives? You need more green than that!

Thankfully the pine trees offer you some green as well. :)

If your kids are small then this might be the best time to move. They'll go right into a French school and grow up speaking French.
