Are those flowers covered in snow on that last photo? Wow. I will be so happy to see the last of the snow melt away. We still have a few piles back by the garage where we shoveled it in a big heap. Hope you enjoy the beauty and that it melts away quickly.
I am happy and sorry for you in the same time. I know you must be waiting impatiently for spring and yet, those photos are just gorgeous. I hope the snow and cold won't be horrible for the orchards, particularly if the trees were flowering. The good news is that it is great weather for cooking and baking.
Paulita Yes, almond tree blossoms. Went out for a drive yesterday once the roads had cleared and the sun was shining and everything was sparkling white. Really amazing! We've never seen it like this - so pretty!
Anne So far it is still below freezing, so very little melting is happening!
nadege I hope it doesn't affect the grapes, olives, peaches or apricots, but since it is still early in the season they should be ok. Fingers crossed!
spacedlaw Exactly. Luckily we didn't have to get to work/school. The roads were like an ice skating rink yesterday until the sun came out and warmed them up a little.

Itn looks gorgeous now, it is the melting that is not good. All the slush and wet :-(

True. And thoroughly enjoyable as long as you don't have to go anywhere (and you do have electricity still).

awesome picture...
It is gorgeous! We got a light dusting last night, nothing spectacular, just cold.
Pretty photos but the joy of snow is wearing a bit thin. We yearn for daffodils and tulips now.

It has been gorgeous! But I'm happy that it is finally melting. :)
