The myriad of flavors on offer at
The Creole Creamery on Magazine Street. Their motto -
Eat Ice Cream. Be Happy.
That works for me!
The decision was a difficult one, and in the end a scoop of
Peanut Butter Fudge Pie proved to be the perfect choice. So deliciously rich and decadent.
Just like New Orleans.

wonderful place!
That's a sentiment I totally agree with. I don't normally eat desserts and sweet things as they cause pain in my joints BUT, for a place with ice cream like that, I could make an exception!
Oh that strawberry balsamic sorbet sounds wonderful! This place looks like a bit of heaven on earth.
Wow what a choice! No wonder you had a difficult decision..I would of gone for something fruity..:-)
Lemon Icebox Pie...I'll have one of those please.

So glad I was able to get uptown for a few hours and check out all the new places on Magazine St. Hope you're enjoying Mardi Gras!

Sweets aren't high on my list of priorities either. (would much rather have some cheese)
However, this ice cream was very special. I'm glad I don't live down the street...would be very dangerous! :)

It was a really tough choice. I tend to go for fruit sorbets when offered the choice between ice cream or sorbet, but I'm also a peanut butter and chocolate freak. Don't get that combo very often in France.

I wish I had the chance to go back and try some of the other flavors. Maybe next year!

I almost went for the Black Cherry Chocolate Chip. Thought that sounded amazing.
Oh Laura, Peanut chocolate ripple ice cream - it's probably a very good thing I don't have an ice cream freezer at home. OOOWWWwwwwwwwwww
I am loving this photo. And, the motto.
I am so thankful that I am spooning away at Haagen Dazs Rocky Road while I read this(it is yummy and will have to suffice), or I would be losing it.
How much fun you must be having!!
Happy Mardi Gras!

Look at all the choices! I'd never be able to decide! It looks like you had a great time. Love your pictures of the trip.

Had a great time, thanks. And the food everywhere I ate was so delicious!
