Since when I think of cheese I think of baguette (which is mostly a sign that I love them both dearly). A co-worker of mine is headed to Paris this April and asked what I wanted her to bring home for me. I said, "Flour. Type 55." Which I then followed up by telling her I'd give her money for the flour. Which was followed by the realisation I have no idea how much they charge for that type of flour.
So, the question: Do you know what the per kilo (or whatever unit they actually sell it by) cost of type 55 flour is?

Allie Don't mention it! Glad to help. You can't find Type 55 in America? I remember buying Italian pasta flour at a little Italian market with my grandma. Maybe there is a place where you can order this type of flour in the States? (or maybe you've already looked!) :)

Yeah, it's kind of weird. You can apparently order Turkish approximations of type 55 online, but from what I understand it's not the same.
I keep looking, though. I am really interested in making baguette with it!
