I must say that I wish the timing was better, as I probably won't be buying a house in the south of France for at least another ten years, but I looked at your little for sale link and thought "good grief, that is the exact sort of house I'd want and exactly *where* I want to live, as well. Bummer." And it occurred to me that you might know, living in the area and having bought a house, is it generally hard to find one? I've been under the impression that houses in the little villages in the Languedoc, Provence, and that part of France generally are often owned by families going a few generations back, so I was afraid I'd have a lot of trouble finding one. Was that your experience when you arrived?
judith, No, there are many, many houses for sale so you won't have a difficult time finding one. Though it took a couple of years to find what we wanted because we didn't want to renovate. Too bad your timing isn't better!
Now I have the little French song in my head..."gentil coquliquot madame..." :) Sorry it's been so long since I've commented...I've been busy. Trying to catch up now!

This is a nice variation of the geraniums featured in your previous post. Both so lovely and just romanticize France for me even more.
anne
