That photo reminds me of the first time I went to Europe. Being from America meant there was nothing more than 200 years old. To see buildings that were new many hundreds of years ago was a real eye opener. Despite being taught otherwise in school, the US isn't the center of the universe after all. :)
I adore curved doorways and archways, and texture--so this photo is right up my alley! The pastel tones are also lovely. Not something I'd see in Atlantic Canada.
Nice shades of light yellow (ochre) and grey, the plants beside the door... It's the little details I appreciate so much. Simplicity is most complicated in fact ;-)
