Photo du Jour - Sud de France

Canal du Midi

The pouring rain, swollen rivers and flooded roads that welcomed me home Tuesday afternoon have subsided and the familiar south of France sun is slowly peeking through the clouds.

And thankfully the jet lag induced fog in my brain is clearing as well. Pin It

This reminds me of one of the photos I took when I came down last year at about this time. I'm going to the same meeting in Toulouse today, BTW. Hoping to plan a trip down to see you sometime in April.

Welcome back after your trip!

The Canal is a very peaceful place. Glad you enjoyed the photo.

Merci! Thanks for taking the time to comment.

You would love the Canal du Midi. Another place for you to visit!

Yes, it was taken from the blue bridge across from the wine shop we went to in Homps.
Hope you had the chance to do more than just your meeting in Toulouse and hope to see you soon!

I feel very lucky to live in France, and the south is a beautiful place!

We have friends with a hotel barge if and when you decide to come on over. :)

Thanks! I was ready to be home!
