Light, pale, crisp and clean, white can sometimes be overlooked as a color.  But those luminous hues and alabaster shades are beautiful in their own right.  We just need to notice them.

These photos are lovely and kind of a change from your usually colorful posts. I bet you will find a lot of striking whites in the Loire area too. I'll be interested to read about your trip -- remember I lived up there for a few years.

I'm so disappointed that we were delayed a day, but very excited to get out of the house early tomorrow morning and drive north. Can't wait to experience the Loire!
