I certainly hope the water levels are contolled by the locks on the Canal - otherwise I would not sleep nights ;-)The ivy wall is impressive - you wonder how many years it took!
yes, the water levels are controlled. The canal doesn't flood, as far as I know.There are tons of buildings around here that are covered in ivy and Virginia creeper. The colors in the autumn are spectacular!
