Yep, I've had them... deep-fried, at a reception at a resort called Blackberry Farm (I was working, not at leisure!). I liked them, as they were very tender and moist. The flavor was not unlike chicken white meat.
Oh my... frog's legs... i love them. I started to eat them when I was really young!! I think the meat is better than chicken! However, the way I have had is Chinese way - Stir-fry with Chilies, Ginger, and Spring Onions. I have tried the French version - fried frog's legs... I still think the chinese version is much much nicer :)

MMMM! Looks so yummy! Now, I need to go out and try and find some for dinner.
They were good. Surprisingly so!
I might give it a try, if I don't know beforehand.
I have - I, too, was a little surprised (and pleased!) at how good they were.
I will give them a try next time I am in France. What sort of taste do they have?

I have not tried, but have always wanted to. Those look absolutely delectable!

The texture reminded me of meaty fish. You should try!

Yes, I was dubious at first. The fact that the little legs were still attached to each other made me a bit squeamish.

Like butter, garlic and parsley! :)
They have a very mild, pleasant flavor.

They would be great deep fried. With some Crystal Hot Sauce to dip in. Yum!

You should if you have the chance. I could have had them many years ago when we lived in New Orleans, but wasn't ready to be adventurous then.
Hello Loulou, Yes, I've tried them but not recently. We have a restaurant here in Saint-Aignan called Le Mange-Grenouilles.

That sounds like a great way to eat them! If I ever decide to cook them myself, I'll remember that. Thanks!
