I'll be doing some of that today...maybe not in the same seats or with the same view, but lunch out with cousins, rosé, cheese and cigales singing today :)
Tres tres jolie! We just got back from a week in Lourmarin - rose, cheese, glace, and blue blue skies. The only thing your lovely photos can't capture is the delicious air--mix of lavender, cypress, and olive. Deeeep sigh...
manna The lavender in Provence is something we don't have here in the Languedoc. Pretty much everything else is the same though. :) Sounds like you had a wonderful trip!
just had to comment on this (even though it's an older post)...
this post is so creative! i could create one of those "perfect days" with all our travel pictures. but i'll just look at yours, sigh, and wish I was there too.

You have the right idea I can't see much improvement on your dream for the day :-) Diane
October Baby!!!!

I think you have the right idea; a glass of rose and something to nibble on with a great view would be a great way to spend the day.
Except for the views of Paris rooftops and the ocean, that all looks just like summer in the Loiret.
Summer in full swing, in the South of France... I couldn't get any better than that.

It was my wish for today.
Unfortunately I had to work instead! :)

You and me baby!

Glad to hear it!
We have many days of rosé, cheese and strawberries (and sometimes ice cream) here in the Languedoc too.

It is and no, it couldn't. :)
Loved that post! Especially the gnarly cheese and the outdoor cushies...
What a fantastic post! I'm swooning with postal envy ! I want all of those and you can choose for me anytime.
As it went in "When Harry Met Sally"... I'll have what she is having, hahaha!
It all sounds and looks fabulous!

This would be such a perfect day!
Save a place for me!! :-)
That pretty much seems like the perfect day. Add a stack of American gossip magazines (my guilty pleasure/ secret shame) and I'd be in heaven.
I would be very happy to tag right along with you.It doesn't get much better than what you have planned.
I would so love to be sharing on a balcony in Montmartre today .
Had 2 short trips there and hoping for one more !
I'll have what your having ;-)
CJ
Thanks!
Maureen
Why not choose all of it? :)
Genie

I think the ice cream is the one that does it for me.
