I've always had a thing for frogs, lizards, newts, turtles, etc.
This handsome fellow, an
Ocellated Lizard according to my friend
Mark, lives in the garden where I work.
He (
she?) is quite shy so I had to be super stealthy and quick with my camera. I think he (
she?) needs a name. Any ideas?

Cleopatra, or Cleo - to celebrate the colours
How about Doc or better yet D'Oc. You obviously quipped "say cheese" before taking this great photo!
Mooney. Because he (she?) is obviously made of green cheese.
Or Ertsmer. That's my word verification.
What a cutie!
He is absolutely beautiful with those stunning colours. Being Irish, I would have to say St. Patrick

Gaudi. Because it reminds me of the Catalan artist's mosaic dragon in Barcelona.
S/he is exquisite and you must have been quick to capture that fast creature!
Bon weekend, mon amie!

I'm with Glenn. Gaudi would be a very good name for this very colorful and beautiful creature.

I love both of those names!
Bruno

I thought that too. I wonder if the Ocellated lizard was his inspiration.
