Photo du Jour - Former Lives

Old Café

After many former lives, this old building in Bayeux is now home to a little épicerie.

Will we get to see images of the inside? What they sell? That would be cool.

A building with stories to tell.

It's a beautiful building. It could tell many an excellent tale. I especially love those windows!

I love when you can see the remnants of a building's past. My favorite fading sign is on the Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence, where you can still spot the fading sign from the hat store of Cezanne's father. Le témoin :)

It's just a little épicerie now. Would have loved to have seen it when it was a café!

And those flowers!

I've always wanted to visit Aix...have heard it is beautiful! We used to see lots of faded signs (ads) on the side of old barns in the vineyards. Love those too!
