That's hysterical! I am also having fun looking at some of the English translations here in France...One of my fav's is Marie Antoinette was translated in English as Mary of Tudor....

I tried to understand why that translation and think I figured it out: "con" is an insult in French, as you know. In fact, that chili con carne is lucky the "translator" only called it "stupid."
