Glad you are settled and the internet is on its way. When I first moved here just for summers, I had a dial up connection for the first 3 years. It was very easy to go insane!! Diane
Domino looks quite interested by the outside. Is he taking well to the move?
Lovely picture - as always.
More doors and windows! I think I only come to this blog for the doors and windows...
I love your place!! Hope to see more photos (cat included) :)
Love the colors in that photo and your adorable cat makes a great contrast! Glad to hear you are settling in. I wish you speedy internet :)
Domino sure is a beautiful kitty! Glad you'll be back 'on' soon. :) And i love doors and windows too. Great photo.
I love this picture, the color and the cat of course. I hope he/she likes the new home ;-)
Wonderful window and shutter colors, so bright and cheerful.
You take the best photos ever! I love the cat.
I love the colors of the windows! You cat seems quite happy with his new digs:)
I can never resist a window with a kitty in it. Lovely shot. Hope the move isn't too stressful. =)
I just love your new home! I am so envious! Happy to hear you're getting settled in. We just bought a wonderful cabin "off the grid" in Montana. We'll be spending six months out of the year there (very civilized - we have a flush toilet - lol!) and six months in Port Townsend, except for those times when we'll be going "home" to France. Looks like we'll be renting in France instead of buying... that will allow us to see every corner of my favorite place! Maybe one day we'll sell our main residence and do six months in France - six in Montana! Love watching you explore your new territory and share with all of us! Happy trails from Washington State!
Been away from your life for a while (new job, no time) but a quick peek does not disappoint. So the south was too remote, too quiet? More action up north? You might be interested: You are much closer to some of my ancestral grounds, northwest of Paris, two families who intermarried. I have cousins still in France as far as I know.Love the empty chairs. They tell a more universal story.Bradford
Love the window... The weather can't be any worse than ours.... Hope you get sunshine on occasion
DianeAfter several headaches, we're finally connected! Yahoo!NathalieHe's loving running around the new place and is still scared to venture outside. Though he does enjoy watching all the birds through the window. SamMerci. :)
J.N.Not a bad reason to visit, if you ask me! :)LindseyThanks! Hope you'll be able to come and see it for yourself one day.SharonThanks for the speedy Internet wishes. They were much appreciated!
MaryWe think he's quite handsome. :) French TwistThanks! I love the way the photo came out. And Domino had a good time posing for the camera as well.EmmI think so too! They are quite unusual here, where many shutters are white or pale blue.
MaureenThank you! Half BakedHe's very happy and spends a good part of the day (when not sleeping, of course) in the windows. SandyIt is going really well, thanks...only a couple of hiccups so far.
LaurenMontana, Port Townsend and France - that sounds like a perfect balance! Can't wait to hear more!BradfordThe south wasn't too quiet, it was blissfully tranquil. And beautiful. However my work opportunities were definitely too quiet, so we decided to try a new place and couldn't be happier. It would be interesting for you to come to France and meet your cousins, non?KatieThanks! We've had amazing weather so far. Only a couple of days of serious rain, but mostly sunny or just cloudy.
Starting to wonder if customer service is better in general in Normandy. So far it's been smooth sailing. (hope I haven't spoken too soon!)
AnonWe're finding that, in general, it is. And we're loving it!
