I stood under a Bourbon Street sign drinking a giant Hurricane one New Year's Eve long long ago. What I wouldn't give to go back one of these days for a visit. Hope you are having a a great visit.
This is the best weekend in the world to be here. Glad you get to enjoy it! We'll be waiting with open arms and a cocktail at the ready for you!
Be sure to have a chickory coffee and beignet for me...and a praline!
Have a great time!
Ah, I'm just back from a week there--we arrived in time for their dizzying win over the Vikings. I'd go back in a flash for another Ramos Gin Fizz at the Roosevelt, or anything from Cochon! Looking forward to some vicarious thrills through your blog...
It was wonderful to meet you and your friend, Ron, in New Orleans. The pictures you have up of the city are great. Please tell Ron Jake and I said hello as we have no way to contact him and we would love for the both of you to stay in touch. Jake says hello to his fellow food snob. We are having hamburger helper for dinner. I'm sure he's thrilled. :)
