Photo du Jour - David Lebovitz's Carnitas

I could go on and on about David Lebovitz's carnitas recipe. Instead I'll just say that they are simply spectacular.

If you've got a few hours and are craving an aromatic mound of succulent, caramelized pork to grace your tortillas, look no further. Pin It

Can you find good tortillas in France? I remember seeing some at the super market but never bought any in France. I generally had to bring them back from the US.
I discovered David Lebovitz site and books through you. I adore him.

No way! We made carnitas last weekend, too! The gray, cold weather we've been having lately is perfect for staying home all afternoon and braising pork.

It was cold and gray here too. Perfect carnitas weather. And it made the house smell amazing!

That looks amazing! I want to do more of both Mexican/Latin inspired and SE Asian inspired cooking this year. I think I'll start with this! Happy New Year!
