I think that paint must've been on sale in southern Italy too....

That's a beautiful photo. I lived in a house on Crete once that had a door that colour - brings back so many memories.

You see a lot of this blue too? How funny. I don't think of it when I think of Italy.

anne
Isn't it a great color?
Glad you and Michelle like the new header!

martha
Thanks!
This blue must be used all over southern Europe. I definitely associate it with the islands of Greece.

I'm sure you do!

Have you ever been to Uzès? I think there's a municipal rule that everyone has to have a certain green color for their shutters. It's a nice color, and in the end it's neat to see all the houses in the region with the same colored shutters.

Hi Loulou...I have put my tag post up...hope it is not too boring, that was very hard to do. :-)

I hope we'll be seeing a lot of blue tonight watching the US election map unfold!

Yes, several years ago we went to Uzes. Beautiful place!
Our village has rules about shutter colors as it is protected. There's a list of acceptable colors listed at the Mayor's office.

I enjoyed learning a bit more about you. Thanks for participating! Are you going to join in La Fête du Fromage too? I hope! :)

me too. I'm hoping beyond hope. And trying to stay calm.

It is a nice shade of blue. A color that reminds me of France.

I don't know what I'm going to do these last hours. I guess drink wine and make cookies to take into work tomorrow...

I hardly slept -- it was so exciting and such a joy to get so much support and enthusiasm from my students and colleagues at work.
