Hi Loulou.
Maybe you could find a recipe for your jalapenos to go with the weird purple cauliflowers that we found yesterday and posted about on the Bella Wines blog.
Hope your roof was OK last night. Big drama but could be disaster for some vineyards!
Cheers
H

Those are some weird purple cauliflowers! And the yellow ones? Where do they get them? Are they grown locally?
Our roof is fine. We never have problems (knock on wood) We were at the bar last night watching the storm. Very dramatic.
Hope the vines are ok up in La Caunette and Minerve!

Lots of purple this time of year. Grapes, figs, now peppers!

Great picture. Are they hotter?

Our friend said that they were spicy, but just to find out myself, so I could answer your question, I bit into one.
Yes, spicy.
VERY SPICY.
VERY VERY SPICY.

If Peter Piper picked a peck of purple peppers, how many purple peppers did Peter Piper pick?

Two weeks from now I will be shopping at outdoor markets in the Quercy area and I will look for these and other produce I cannot find locally.

I hope to experience parts of the vendange, too.

Have a wonderful trip. Will you be blogging while you're here?

Have you tried the purple cauliflower? I imagine that it tastes just like the white.
