Very tasty..but I prefer them cooked in white wine, with some very finely chopped leeks and finely chopped carrots with garlic..my friend sally did them for me ..delicious.
I love 'moules'. They serve them here with 'les frites'.
Mon dieu... I'm already a sucker for mussels, and you're saying you can get them with cheese?!
I've never tried them with cheese. They look great!
They look delicious.
anneThat is also my favorite way with mussels. Just make sure there's plenty of bread to soak up the sauce!scintillahere too. Love them!!!danielleyes, cheese covered, broiled mussels. They're irresistible!wcsthey are! They do the same thing with oysters at the restaurants down on the Étang de Thau.LucyHave you ever made them? I make Moules Marinières, but have never tried the gratinéed version.
These look fabulous! My favorite mussels preparation is still the classic one with a lot of garlic /shallots and a touch of cream--but I found an interesting recipe in Seattle (in a tiny restaurant right in Pike Place market) that uses BACON. Recipe is on my blog.
caseyThat is a great looking recipe with the bacon and mussels!
